Thanks to Justine, I have a plenty of weird inspiration from her scary poster on tapeworms. It has inspired my next freak, which will go on my freak painting (already completed are eyeless aaron and mabel the mouth, soon to come will be bladderworm brad).

This is a picture from Nicholas Rains’ trip to Argentina at Cueva de las Manos, near Bajo Caracoles in the south steppe. These paintings from 9,300 years ago are so beautiful. With my recent interest/obsession with graffiti art, I find these hand pictures so compelling.
I really love baptiste ibar’s paintings. He studies a lot of very specific objects like donkeys, chairs & tables, birds, etc. His “disaster paintings” were recently used in michel gondry’s movie the science of sleep.
The artist Blu is currently my hero.
