Howard Finster was a folk artist in rural Georgia. I visited his Paradise Gardens many years ago. I wish that photos or words could describe the chaotic and colorful art on his property. He was very religious, as seen in many (or most) of his work. The official Finster website is pretty difficult to navigate (not to mention ugly), but you can find info and pictures. Next time you are in Georgia, make a stop in Summerville. You can find some serious Southern food in the neighborhood, too.
